Islas de Lobos, Off Fuerteventura, Footpaths Near Completion
The creation and restoration of the footpaths on island of Lobos , in the Canary Islands, has nearly been completed after six months work at a cost of 290,000 Euros.
This also includes the restoration of the salt flats, the rebuilding of three lime kilns and six wells. The footpaths will now be integrated into the of paths on Fuerteventura that stretch from the north to the south of the island.
The only remaining work needed to be done is some signage and a footbridge to provide access to the salt flats across the lagoon.
Trips to the island by ferry can be made from Corralejo
