Annual celebration of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Corralejo, Fuerteventura
The annual celebration of Nuestra Señora del Carmen is taking place over the next three weeks in Corralejo, Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands. Spain is famous for its fiestas and the Canarian islands are no different from the mainland in their enthusiasm for a party.
Events will take place every day to celebrate the "Fiestas en Honor a Nuestra Señora del Carmen" with the main day being Friday the 16th July, and the final day being the 25th July. Click the link to get the festival programme, Programa Fiestas en Honor a Nuestra Señora del Carmen Corralejo.
Events will include various types of music concerts, carnivals, the election of the Carnival Queen, sports events and a firework display on Sunday the 18th July.
The progrmme for events is posted in the Cabildo offices and many shops and restaurants
