96% Of Tourists Will Visit Fuerteventura Again

The Cabildo has published its survey findings in the Tourism Satisfaction Index for Fuerteventura. The survey was carried out between the 22nd February and the 7th March and as during other surveys in earlier seasons the main reason given for visiting the island was the great climate we enjoy and the enviroment characteristics.
The average stay was eleven nights using 4 to 5 star hotels for 53% of tourists. 60% of travellers to Fuerteventura where couples and 14.6% where family holidays.
96% of tourists said they would choose Fuerteventura again for a holiday and 98% would recomend the island to friends and family. Half the people surveyed where not first time visitors to Fuerteventura.
Another statistic to come out of the survey was that the internet was increasingly important to tourists when planning their holiday and sites such as BuyIn Fuerteventura help with people planning a holiday independant of tour operators. In fact 30% used the net to book flights,cars,hotels etc.
