New Botanical Garden For Corralejo, Fuerteventura, Canary Island, Spain
Corralejo, Fuerteventura is to get a new Botanical garden situated next to the new Guadia Civil police station.
The project is being carried out by Syocsa-inarsa.es at a cost of €1,000,000 and is due for completion in December 2010. The site has long been earmarked as a public garden and work is well underway with a spokesman for the constructers saying that the garden was on schedule for the target completion date.
The project is the biggest of a total of 11 sites in La Oliva on the Canarian Island of Fuerteventura scheduled for improvement at a total cost of €2,238,000 and along with the roadside planting programme this will mean Corralejo having a greener feel to the town.
