Chillida´s Dream comes truth

Eduardo Chillida imagined a sculpture inside a mountain. He wanted to open a hole in order to entering the light and the air in the future symbol " of the solidarity ". The unexpected judicial processes still in force - promoted by ecologists and two construction ones who acquired in his day the rights on the predictable work - they support in the air 15 years later the majestic initiative, though the Canary Government does not move backward in his determination to extract it forward.

Tindaya's natural monument occupies a surface of 186 hectares in the municipal area of The Olive. It does not stand out only for being a magic place where the fauna and flora abound on the verge of extinction. It shelters also deposits of patrimonial relevancy - with approximately 300 realized engravings ten centuries ago - and constitutes a refuge of aboriginal beliefs. The insular Executive is five years old to plait a plan with this restriction. It does not look like a simple task.
